Business Bay Metro: checking the journey from a residential project
Business Bay station appears on the RTA map. Its name is shared with a large district, so choosing an apartment requires checking the route from the actual building entrance.
Start at the station, finish at the building entrance
RTA's official map places Business Bay in the metro network and helps identify your direction of travel. It shows the network, but does not verify walking times from individual projects.
Enter the building address and destination in RTA's journey planner. If the building has several entrances, check the one you will use daily. See whether the first part requires a bus or taxi.
Check both directions
Try the walk to the station in the morning and back in the evening. Assess crossings, lifts, shade and access with a pushchair. A route that works once without bags may not suit everyday travel.
For a work commute, compare your departure time, transfers and the final section after the metro. If another family member drives, check how their departure works alongside the pedestrian's route.
Questions at a project viewing
Ask to see the residential entrance, exit towards the stop and current pedestrian route. For a building under construction, confirm whether those passages will be available at handover.
The cards below show Business Bay projects. Sharing a district does not mean sharing the same station distance. Fixed journey times require a separate route check.
